Apple Tree Picnic Area is a fantastic destination for families seeking a day of outdoor enjoyment. With its spacious grounds, fishing and swimming opportunities, and convenient amenities, it offers everything you need for a memorable picnic experience. Whether you're relaxing by the water, enjoying a barbecue, or exploring the surrounding trails.

It has good open spots for picnic and relaxing. Rich forests around for scenic bushwalkin, beautiful waters for boating/kayaking. BUT the restrooms were beyond pathetic. Not even bearable for emergency purpose. Abusive usage by the public and no maintenance at all by the management if any.

The place is ahead of Bobbin Head. It's a quite relaxing place with numerous fishing areas. The place has lots of parking space. Best place to spend time with Freinds and family. The place has barbecue as well. There are few walks to the mt.kurangai starting from Apple bay.

Apple Tree Bay is located a couple of minutes’ drive from the more popular and busier main picnic area at Bobbin Head. There is a large grassed area and a few picnic tables, and a small kiosk (check current hours during Covid) before you go. The boat ramp does get busy at times but you can find quiet areas at the other end of the parking area. Food is also available at...

This picnic area is great for groups of any sizes big or small, with plenty of shaded tables and seating to keep you comfortable. The area is perfect for relaxing, and there are water activities nearby, like paddle boating and kayaking, which were super fun! There’s also a cafe and a small shop, there's also a decent-sized car park for convenience. I’ll definitely be...

Great spot to sit by the water and look across at the bush. Usually quieter than Bobbin Head. Some grass to kick a ball, hit a ball. Has two BBQs but not many tables. The road on the far end is quiet enough for small kids to ride their bikes (away from the boat trailers). The walk along the water is one of our favourites and you can get to Mt Kuringai if...
