Difficult to rate. I was expecting the "corridor" to be set within larger parkland.. but this was a small area alongside the road. Maybe unfairly I've marked this down because of my expectations. The world is certainly a better place for little gems like this and I do appreciate the effort and thought that goes into maintaining this park. ( should I have scored this a 4 or 5 ?? !!! ) Maybe this does warrant a higher score for quaintness/being unique.
Has public toilets nearby and children's playground opposite . Reading the names and dates of PMs does provide for a good conversation as you walk down between the trees. A pleasant 5-15mins depending on how long you spend talking about each PM.. would take 3mins to walk up and back...
Read moreA very quiet park area with seats,rubbish bin,information signs and an even all terrain boardwalk for viewing of the trees and which prime ministers they represent plus the years they were in office.A lovely walled fence on the roadside with marked disabiled parking and on street parking,not very busy at all except on tree planting day.The oak lined walked is amazing in autumn and winter with the leaves changing colour and falling.There are toilets opposite at Jackson park along with a shelter and picnic tables and water tap.Right beside the train line heading into Katoomba or Springwood.You can catch a train and walk here from Faulconbridge...
