Faulconbridge Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

Ordered through menulog. Time for delivery was changed from 6:20-6:40 to 6:50 to 7:10, that’s ok I understand restaurants get busy. However food was delivered & left on the ground (not even on the seat next to the door) & left, no door bell rung or knock on the door. App said food was delivered at 6:42, however I didn’t go out to check until 7:05. Called the restaurant & spoke with the manager, as the lid had come off of two boxes, only ordered 2 dishes & a fried rice, & the sauce from the sweet & sour leaked out of the box, over the other meal & rice. I was polite to the manager & when I complained about the delivery person not ringing the door bell or knocking on the door & the fact the meals had leaked, she got VERY defensive & told me I had to contact menulog, it had nothing to do with the restaurant. When I said I paid $80 for a meal that’s turned up looking like a dogs breakfast, she said ‘well I won’t get paid by menulog for at least a month’. Sorry lady not my problem. Perhaps you should not use menulog. Wether the blame lays with menulog or not, surely the restaurant should take some responsibility as it is their reputation that I’ll remember not menulog as I have used menulog many times & have NEVER had an...

We came here on a rainy Friday evening on our way to Oberon. We were very pleasantly surprised with this gem of a restaurant! We came with our 3 year old daughter and there were plenty of options on the menu for kids. The waiter was so lovely and he was very engaging with our daughter and made us feel very comfortable. There was even a guy playing guitar so the whole vibe was fantastic. He soon realised there were a few kids dancing and he proceeded to cater to his audience and played some Wiggles song for the little ones! It was very quiet when we visited the restaurant today, which apparently the owner said it was normal as dinner time is their busy hour. Food was tasty, served hot and fresh, well cooked and presented. It might be slightly pricey but you got good food, friendly service and good ambience. So it's great experience overall all. I recommend this place and will definitely come back. PS: I think it's also good for family gathering and other events as there is a ceiling to floor divider...
