When you walk into the newly renovated La Bello, you're greeted with a combination of flickering LED imitation gaslights attached to imitation marble pillars. You order at the counter at La Bello. The lady asked what my table number was, so I went back to the table number to check. I couldn't find the number anywhere and went back empty handed. The lady then told me that I didn't in fact have a table number yet, and then assigned me one. It was the first time eating at La Bello. Mostly I've had takeaway. The food is pleasant, but most likely gets more kudos than it deserves due to a lack of competition in the area. Though if you have the time, up at Lawson there's Napoli Corner which will treat you to a gourmet pizza from a wood fired oven. After paying $131 for a meal, I asked for some wine glasses. Each glass cost $3 which I then had to process in another transaction which totalled $12. After investigating the cost of wholesale wine glasses, I found similar glasses to be available at about the same price they leased them to us for. In restaurants, a corkage fee acknowledges the service involved in opening, decanting, and serving BYO wine. At La Bello, they provide precisely zero of these services, which is why such a large fee for glass usage took me by surprise. As of today, I couldn't find this fee on any of their social sites and the 'labellopizzeria.com.au' URL link is broken. $3 glass hire.

Exceeding expectations! We stopped by on a whim for a birthday dinner, and boy, did you guys pull out all the stops! The entrees were were delivered promptly and were excellently portioned and were hot and tasty! The mezza board was the group favourite. The ravioli was amazing, the sauces was on point and delicious, the pizzas we had were so filling we ended up having to take the half pizzas home it was so good! We will be back!

Finally reopened. It's one of our favourite local eats. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Renovations are fantastic. The atmosphere was great. Menus were great happy to see our favs were still available. Would like to see coffee introduced and was surprised that there is now no table service. You go to the counter and order. This actually took some of the shine off. But we love the food here.

My partner and I ordered dinner through Menulog from this restaurant, despite a delivery eta of 35-50 minutes it took almost 2 hours for the food to arrive. To start with the delivery driver didn’t follow our delivery instructions at all despite us both having covid, the wedges were stone cold, the drink wasn’t what we had ordered and I’ve added a picture of the disgusting so called “Caesar salad” they sent. Grey in colour, the lettuce looks old and being 35 weeks pregnant I had to throw it straight out as I can’t risk getting listeria poisoning from the old lettuce. I spent over 50 minutes on the Menulog chat to be offered a $10 credit as the lady from Menulog had rung them and the restaurant had declined a refund. I then rang the restaurant directly and originally spoke to a lady who admitted Menulog had rang but they couldn’t offer me a refund only a credit, to which I was obviously not satisfied with given the disgusting food we got after 2 hours of waiting. I was then put onto a second lady and I’ve never experienced such disgusting customer service. She was rude throughout the whole conversation, told me her boss was too busy to speak to me and then admitted he wasn’t even there and told me I was being abusive for calling her out on lying, told me Menulog had not called at all despite the other lady admitting that they had, told me they can’t do anything for me as the food had already been delivered?? Go figure.. She refused to tell me her name and hung up on me mid sentence. As someone who works customer service myself...

I have tried this take away about 4 times and sadly, each time I have found it really disappointing. I have found the salad so drenched in dressing that I couldn't eat it. My garlic prawn pizza had one prawn per slice of pizza (and this was a family size pizza). The last pizza I had delivered had one of the toppings missing which is a bit rich when you pay extra for different toppings but do not get a discount for deleting toppings. Last time, I tried the pesto pasta which again was so disappointing that I threw it out. I assumed pesto would be made in house, but this pasta was covered in a green liquid sauce which must have come out of a jar and had a kind of vinegar taste. Tonight, we ordered 1 pizza and 1 pasta. TWO HOURS later, it arrived. I had ordered a pasta in a creamy mushroom sauce. There was NO sauce, but there was oil. I think there had been creamy sauce at some point, but I am guessing that it had been on heat or kept warm for so long that the cream had turned to oil. In fairness, I should add that the garlic pizza that we had once was nice and the chicken dishes we had once were nice. These are the only reasons that I could stretch to the 2 star rating. I don't know what the problems are. Not enough cooks? Not enough delivery drivers? Not...
