This park has something for everyone - from babies and primary school age to grown up exercise equipment - although the exercise equipment is not for serious exercisers I reckon. There is shade, tables, bubblers, toilets (BIG WIN), see-saw, mini-rock climbing ... the only thing that might make this better is monkey bars, a flying fox, and more parking. that being said, you really can't fault this park. Read moreHughes Park is a largely brand new facility built as part of the Bay Pavilions project. It's not an exclusive use park and is open for all to use. The equipment is new and very safe, without removing the innate adventure that you want your kids to enjoy. There is a community garden on site, which is locked, along with exercise equipment and a wonderful Braille Trail. There are covered tables, barbecues and shade cloths. My only desire would be better lighting for the early evening, but other than that...
