Katandra Bushland Sanctuary — Attraction in Sydney

This unknown sanctuary is conveniently close to the northern beaches, just off Mona vale road. It's a hidden gem amongst housing. All contributions go directly back into sanctuary which is run by volunteers. The track is only a few kilometres long with the option of walking the entire perimeter or a short walk. There is plenty of maps to go around that include points of interest along your walk, plus more information, history and visual aids about the sanctuary in the hut. One of the best things about this sanctuary is that you are encourage to explore, go off the track.

Information provided is useless. The link to the website says access denied and the phone number has been disconnected. When I use Google Maps the sign outside says only open Sundays July-October. However, it says above that it's open this Sunday which is still June - so we have no idea...
