Pizza Capanna Warriewood — Restaurant in Sydney

Called and said I wanted to order off the 12.50 pizza lunch special menu.

Ordered 4 SMALL pizzas, thinking it would cost ourselves $50. When we got there they told us the total was $67. Why ?

Two were at the 12.50 price, The other 2 pizza's Brendese (chilly prawn) where not on the specials menu and they charged us $21 for EACH SMALL pizza.

Why didn't they tell us this when we ordered on the phone when we said we wanted to order off the specials list? Rip off merchants?

To rub salt into the wound these $21 chilly prawn pizza's only had 3 to 4 prawns on them, not even a prawn per slice, and they were so oily.

Needless to say I will not be going back, and my work mates will not be ordering from them again.

Shame.

This restaurant went out of their way to create a personal experience for us, above and beyond any normal service.

I contacted the restaurant because I'm currently living abroad and I wanted to send something special to my fiance.

The manager Dawn got back to me straight away and over a 2 week period helped me plan an awesome surprise delivery in the form of a heart shaped pizza.

She asked her web team to make a unique page on their website where I could order and pay for the surprise, so they knew it was me, and Dawn even hand delivered the pizza herself.

I cant thank Dawn and her team enough, and would highly recommend checking out their restaurant in Warriewood. My fiance said the pizza was delicious, hot and looked great. What more...

Had lunch here before heading down to the Warriewood wetlands. I had the carbonara fettuccini, pasta was over cooked (stuck together and very soft) and the sauce was very watery as if it was not cooked nearly long enough. The same went for the other cream pasta my wife had. The kids bolognese was a very basic tomato sauce with minced beef in big chunks. We had to add a lot salt to all dishes, something we don’t usually do.

As far as service goes the waitress was very nice, but was mostly stuck in the kitchen/office. Since she was the only one serving customers, it meant we had to wait too long for her to take our order and...
