Don’t make the same mistake I did, I googled Palm Beach Caravan Park Sydney and discovered as we were driving into Sydney, I had booked and paid for 2 nights at Palm Beach Caravan Park in Jarvis Bay NSW. There isn’t a Palm Beach Caravan Park, the description of the Jarvis Bay Park, read as though it was the caravan park where Summer Bay is filmed. A $160 mistake! 😡 Google searches don’t always deliver what you ask for.😡 I’m not even sure if there is a Palm Beach in Jarvis Bay, however there is a Palm Beach Caravan Park. Palm Beach Sydney was crowded and expensive, a drumstick ice cream will cost you $10 and parking starts at $10 an hour. There are better beaches to see in NSW. Unfortunately with the accommodation mix up we didn’t see the home and away destinations we wanted to see, as we had to find somewhere else to stay...

Accessible using bus route number 199 from Mona Vale or Manly. Excellent scenic views of the surrounding locations including the lighthouse at the beachhead. The light pollution scale here is a Bortle class 4 which means it's half decent for visual observing and imaging.
