Our experience at Dunes Palm Beach was simply exquisite. From the moment we stepped into this picturesque beachside venue, we were enthralled by its sheer elegance and charm. Dunes Palm Beach provided us not just with a reception space but with a canvas where our wedding dreams could unfold in all their glory.
The ambiance of Dunes Palm Beach is nothing short of breathtaking, offering panoramic vistas of the beach that exude an air of romance and tranquility. The venue's interior, with its tasteful blend of modern sophistication and coastal allure, served as the perfect setting for our wedding celebration.
A true highlight of our experience was the impeccable food and drinks served at Dunes Palm Beach. The alternate drop menu featuring delectable canapes such as Tofu & Thai Basil Rice Paper Rolls with Chilli Dipping Sauce, Peking Duck Pancakes with Cucumber and Shallots, and Half Shell Tassie Scallops with Kombu Butter set a delightful tone for a gastronomic journey that delighted our senses.
The entrees, including Hiramasa Kingfish with White Soy and White Miso Spice Crust and Burrata with Panzanella and Fried Capers, showcased the chef's culinary prowess and attention to detail. For mains, the Eye Fillet with Bearnaise Sauce and Shoestring Fries, alongside Crispy Skin Snapper with Green Mango Papaya Salad, were executed to perfection, pleasing even the most discerning palate.
A special mention must be made of the vegetarian option: Gnocchi with Broad Beans, Zucchini Flowers, Romanesco, and Burnt Butter Sage, served with Labne, which was a delightful culinary experience in its own right.
The dessert spread provided a splendid finale to our culinary journey, with our own cake presented and served elegantly alongside roaming canape desserts like Pavlova with White Chocolate Mousse and Passionfruit, and Limoncello Tiramisu with Burnt Meringue and Lemon Curd. The Gelato station, featuring Pistachio and Chocolate ice cream, added a touch of indulgence to the evening.
What truly made our wedding reception perfect was the invaluable assistance of Steffi, the dedicated wedding coordinator at Dunes Palm Beach. From the initial planning stages to the flawless execution on the day, Steffi was a constant support. She meticulously handled seating arrangements, crafted detailed run sheets, and ensured seamless coordination with all our vendors. Steffi's professionalism, expertise, and genuine care made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
In conclusion, Dunes Palm Beach is more than just a venue; it's a sanctuary where unforgettable memories are woven into the fabric of time. If you seek a place that marries breathtaking beauty, impeccable service, and a touch of coastal magic, Dunes Palm Beach is an experience that surpasses expectations and leaves an indelible mark on your heart.

I recently visited Dunes Palm Beach and had one of the most unforgettable dining experiences of my life. From the stunning beachfront location to the impeccable service, everything about this place is pure perfection. But let’s get to the star of the show—the Moreton Bay Bug Slider. Oh. My. Goodness.
This slider was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The tender, succulent Moreton Bay bug was cooked to absolute perfection, nestled in a soft, buttery brioche bun, and complemented by a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Every bite was a revelation—fresh, flavorful, and utterly divine. My friend Kylie, who is a self-proclaimed foodie and has tried sliders all over the world, declared it “the best slider she has ever tasted in her life.” High praise indeed, and I couldn’t agree more!
The ambiance at Dunes Palm Beach is equally magical. The laid-back, beachy vibe combined with the elegant touches made it the perfect spot for a relaxed yet luxurious dining experience. Watching the sunset over the water while savoring such incredible food was truly a moment to remember.
To top it all off, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had an amazing time. They even took the time to explain the inspiration behind the dishes, which added an extra layer of appreciation for the meal.
If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines world-class food, breathtaking views, and top-notch service, Dunes Palm Beach is the place to be. That Moreton Bay bug slider alone is worth the visit—trust me, you won’t regret it! Kylie and I are already planning our next trip back. 10/10,...
Read moreWe were part of a large group there to attend a function. Most of the staff were friendly but not efficient, some were unhelpful. The drinks available were wine, beer and water. That's fine, my problem was that I wanted a cold water. All the plastic bottles of water were arranged on the table in the sun. There were two large stainless bowls of ice to keep the beer chilled but nobody thought to put a couple of bottles of water on ice as well. When I asked if cold water was available I was told that it was just what was on the table. For a function the food quality was very variable and not what was expected. One of the main course offerings was a steak. The steak was cooked perfectly, especially if you like your steak rare, but it was tiny. To accompany the steak there was chips; a LOT of chips. No salads, no vegetables, nothing else. There is just so many chips that you can eat. Most were left on the plate. Spacing. There wasn't any. In fact it became a joke at our table to come up with other hilarious comparisons for the body crush. Economy class on el cheapo airlines has more space. Someone said that they thought that the seat spacing at a recent concert in the Hunter Valley was bad, but this was worse. There wasn't enough space for the wait staff to deliver the meals efficiently. Clearing the used dishes was too much of a problem. So, did we have a bad time? No, but that was because of the event and the people that we were there with, not because of the food and service of the venue. It might be different for a weekend/weekday luncheon but I won't be back...
