Sea Urchin Science Centre — Attraction in Sydney

My wife and I travelled from Adelaide to visit this wonderful science centre on Monday 23 December, and it was a fantastic experience. Ashley is a very friiendly and welcoming host, who was clearly keen to make sure that we obtained the full benefit of our visit. Despite being probably the world's pre-eminent taxonomist of sea-urchins, he was very modest and answered all of our questions in a way that even we could understand. My husband and I attended this museum at the insistence of my daughter who had a really great experience. We too were amazed and impressed by the gorgeous displays and the wealth of knowledge that the museum owner, Ashley has. He is quite famous in the international urchin and mollusc world! This gallery is such a hidden gem - my partner and I had the most amazing morning here. The owner and curator is a leading expert in this field, and had such a wealth of knowledge about each item and display.
