I am very pleased with the addition of a bicycle station including a bike pump and mini tool shed and new amenities since I did ride 28km and this facility could prove very useful in the future. This section of the 28km is a highlight due to the variety of treescapes, biodiversity and mixed cycling surfaces e.g. boardwalk. The only downside was industrial waste e.g. bundles of plastic that were visible through the fence line further south. The links were mostly well connected with the odd carpark presenting an obstacle on a busy day (Bayside Area). The mangroves infrastructure was outstanding further towards the stadium. If the pedestrian cycling link between the Shark Park and the Golf ⛳ Club were ironed out then I would give it ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks for the great cycle ways 🌊👋 🏖️ 🚲 🧋 and lots of shade, bubblers and facilities all round ☀️ Lots of skaters out, which is well catered for with the smooth, clean surfaces abundant, nice track.

This little spot is quiet & peaceful, a nice spot to just sit there and enjoy the view. It is not really kid friendly. I didn’t see any park area where they can run around. More like a place where you can just relax for peace and quiet, away from the noisy crowd & maybe a picnic (on the sand) but make some you watch your kids as they can easily run in the water! It can be very dangerous if they can’t swim.

This area is beautiful, with a small beach and great views of the bay and shipyard. There's also a paved trail adjacent to it that's great for long walks and bike rides. When I visited in Dec, there were a few gulls and a couple of pied stilts on the beach, but not much else. There are 3 car parking stalls near the entrance, and no bathrooms.

Taren Point Shorebird Reserve is off Taren Point Road and if you didn't know where it is you would miss it. One of Sydney's Hidden Gems. It's tucked away behind residential developments and a Public area that is open to the public and used for bike riding, walking, picnics, running and other recreational activities. Not a huge area but that is the best part about it. New Toilet and Bathroom Facilities have been installed adding to cater for all without worry of where to go or where to change your baby's nappy. Shops and cafes are a short walk. Buses run and stop walking distance from the reserve. Street and small Car parking is onsite and close by. A good place to relax and enjoy the Waterside Bay area that is...
