Archie’s Flame Grille in Sylvania Waters is nothing short of exceptional, easily earning its place as one of the top spots for flame-grilled cuisine in Sydney. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor strikes the perfect balance between modern elegance and laid-back comfort, making it an ideal venue for family dinners, casual catch-ups, or even a relaxed date night.
The menu is a testament to the passion and expertise behind the grill. Whether you’re a fan of perfectly cooked steaks, tender ribs, or juicy chicken, Archie’s delivers on every front. The meats are always fresh, generously portioned, and cooked to absolute perfection. The smoky, char-grilled flavors are simply irresistible, making each bite a true delight. One of the standout dishes for me was the flame-grilled chicken—succulent, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The ribs were another highlight: fall-off-the-bone tender and slathered in a rich, savory glaze that had me licking my fingers clean.
Their side dishes deserve a special mention too. From crispy golden fries to fresh, vibrant salads, every accompaniment is crafted with care and complements the main dishes beautifully. Be sure to try their house-made sauces, which add a burst of flavor and elevate the meal to new heights. The variety and quality on offer ensure there’s something for everyone, even the pickiest eater.
Service at Archie’s is also top-notch. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They’re happy to offer recommendations, answer questions about the menu, and accommodate special requests where possible. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority, which adds to the overall experience.
The value for money at Archie’s Flame Grille is incredible. Given the generous portions, premium quality ingredients, and flawless execution, you’re truly getting more than your money’s worth. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit.
When I visited Archie’s Flame Grille, I decided to go all out and order a full rack of their signature flame-grilled ribs with a side of crispy sweet potato fries and a fresh garden salad. To top it off, I added a serving of their creamy garlic sauce. From the first bite, I was in heaven—the ribs were unbelievably tender, coated in a sticky, smoky glaze that had just the right balance of sweetness and tang. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, while the salad provided a refreshing crunch that balanced the richness of the meal. Dipping everything into the garlic sauce was pure indulgence, and every mouthful left me savoring the flavors. It was a dining experience that truly exceeded my expectations and left me grinning with delight!
Overall, Archie’s Flame Grille is a must-visit if you’re in Sylvania Waters or even just passing through. It’s rare to find a spot that consistently delivers on food, service, and ambiance, but Archie’s manages to do it effortlessly. Whether you’re a devoted foodie or just someone who loves a good meal, this place will not disappoint. Highly...
Read moreIf i could give this place zero stars, i would. This place has horrible service and their staffs have terrible attitude (particularly this male staff who treated me horribly and the female staff who just stood there and did absolutely nothing but smile). The food quality has downgraded since i last went and i use to be a regular customer which is saying something. However, i will no longer return after a male staff demanded to see my phone and deleted pictures off it which is ridiculous as it was merely a picture/video of the store that i was going to promote on my food blog (this was before i tasted the burgers and saw a drastic decrease in quality). He would not let me leave until he deleted the photo/video off my phone which is an act of harrassment and an invasion of my privacy. As a burger joint which charges overprice for mediocre burgers, this place isn't worth spending a dime.
Go to KFC or Pauls Hamburger in Sylvania because the burgers and service are 100 times better. The southern bird burger i bought was dry due to the lack of sauce. This place is clearly trying to be cheap as they have clearly cut down on their quality and ingredients despite charging the same price. The onions were extremely bitter and overall the four burgers which I purchased for my family tasted plain. We also waited for a long time too and our sweet potato fries were soggy. They have also reduced their servings from the last time we went (I use to go once a week). Save your money and don't support a place that has no proper etiquette, manners and business sense.
Don't run a business if you can't treat your customers properly - especially the locals. The actions of your male staff was clearly an act of personal violation/ harassment. In particular, when I told him that I would never come again despite being a regular customer - his response of "Good, don't come back" after running and looking like he wanted to attack me from the window of your shop, shows the lack of professionalism from your staff. Absolutely horrendous and impudent service from such ignorant staffs who lack basic manners. 0/10 would not recommend.
During a difficult time for small businesses, this is not how you should treat your customers, especially long-term ones. Looking forward to the day you close down because you clearly cannot run a business with such rude attitude and service.
Don't be fooled by their high reviews here, the quality of their service and food has significantly downgraded since. I will never return again and have told my friends and family who either live or do not live in the suburb to...
Read moreOne of the true hidden gems of the shire, nestled in Sylvania Waters not far from Taren Point comes this humble takeaway shop that serves amazing fresh cooked burgers, chicken, desserts and everything in between. I have been here several times and it gets really busy during lunch and on weekends, true to form, I arrived as soon as they opened.
The hardest part I had was choosing only a few burgers, they all looked amazing.
I grabbed the following -
Canada's Best - beef burger with maple bacon always grabs my attention, the patty was thick with a nice char, the bacon was perfection, messy, everywhere and full of that sweet maple taste.
Pop Eye Wasabi - switched the fried chicken for grilled chicken #health, I don't go for grilled chicken burgers in general as I find them quite bland, this was the opposite, really flavoursome and the wasabi just went so well with it, nice cheese melt, this was a true flavour bomb.
BBQ Bourbon Brisket - I knew this would be my favourite and it did not disappoint at all. The brisket was so soft and so tender, the jalapeno bacon was one of my favourites, the beauty of bacon with a nice spice hit. I love onion rings, they make every burger better and they were perfect for this, throw in some some smokey cheese sauce and bbq sauce, this was amazing, if there is one reason to go to Archies, this is it.
Quality food, amazing prices and waterviews, this is perfect for an afternoon lunch on...
