Located at 127 Gardenia Avenue, Emu Plains, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. A wonderful look at some of Australia’s history. The museum was once a staging post for travellers/gold diggers on their way to the gold fields on the other side of the Blue Mountains ⛰️. It’s now a popular venue for activities, tourism and special events such as school tours, school holiday activities and exhibitions. It’s also popular as a wedding venue. It’s built in two sections, the first in 1826 making it one of the oldest buildings in Penrith. The collection on display contains thousands of photos and artifacts used was manufactured in the local area. You have to book for a tour and I definitely recommend doing this if you get the chance. It cost us $15.00 for a guided tour which included scones, jam and cream with tea/coffee. Our guide Phil was fantastic, so full of information and willing to answer any and all questions with patience. I found it so interesting and highly suggest. Thumbs...
