The play equipment is lovely but badly thought out. The majority of the playground is in the full sun. A little bit of shade for water play and slide. Only two picnic spots with shade the rest of tables and seats in full sun. Some people were even set up under the kids play equipment to get shade. Not well designed for kids and families. Don't go here on a warm day. Another issue is that parking near the playground is very limited.

Amazing park to take children, watch out for the water feature. Only thing to subtract from the park is vandalism has broken one of the gate latches, see picture attached. I assume the council will fix this quick.

New playground is much improved and loved by kids. Unfortunately the flying fox is under repairs atm.

I was very excited to go to this park as it looked great, but it wasn't as great as I'd hoped. There were no toilets. The flying fox is just a bit too high for my 6 year old to get on and even my 10 year old was having trouble. This would be okay if it they could get to it from the ground, bit you have to climb up onto a platform to lift them up. This would also be okay if there were free access to the platform. Instead there is a bar at about waist height after you've climbed up the ladder to the platform, which is tricky to get under when you're on a ladder, both for me and for my 10 year old. The climbing frame also looked really cool, but the spaces between the steps were a little large in places and a little narrow to get through in other places. It makes you realize how much thought and engineering goes into these things to get them right.

Little disappointing. Can't see myself going back any time soon, which is...

Great upgrade to the park. Trampoline, swings, bridge to climb over, small water play area that brings squeals of delight, flying fox, rope climbing, swings and more. Something for younger and older kids. There’s also a seesaw, and a flat bench with rollers which is fun to slide along. There’s an obstacle course with a solar timer so older kids can challenge themselves. There’s decent toilets nearby, plenty of parking and the area is fenced and gated. It’s also wheelchair accessible. There is seating throughout the park and some shaded areas. The only thing stopping it from being a 5-star park is there is not nearly enough shade, especially for a brand new park. There are small trees planted that will eventually provide that shade in 10 years time, but in the meanwhile, visitors roast on a...

The playground is aimed for younger kids as the flying fox is so low my feet dragged along the ground when i rode it - i am only a small 13 year old and they still dragged along, There isn't much space to ride a scooter or a bike. Its good that there are 4 swings - 2 baby ones and 2 adult/bigger kid ones. There is a tiny rock climbing wall which is great for baby and maybe up to 6 or 7. Lastly there is a big climbing frame which is lots of fun. There is also lots of space to sit and have picnics...
