An iconic place to take photos right in line with the Nut. It's a short 5-10 minute drive out of town but had great views over it towards the Nut.

There's a stand where you can put your phone up and that'll allow you to take a photo without anyone else assisting (just need to put on a self-timer on your phone or camera).

Please come here for the best picture frame photo of Stanley. Great platform viewing area, with only a few stairs. Easy parking. Read about the flight from Tasmania to Torquay by Lt. Arthur Long in 1919.

Lucky me got to buy homemade apricot & pineapple jam ($8-$10), and freshly baked biscuits ($5) from the local lady in the home...

This roadside Lookout provides another view of Stanley township and the Nut, as well the surrounding districts. It is on the road to Highfield Historic Site. At certain times of the year could possibly be a site for some spectacular sunset viewing and...
