A stunning place with very hostile owner.
I googled wineries on google map around Tarma river region and this place showing up in the balloon icon with no information of its business hours.
I drove around that region to a few different wineries and decided to go over and have a look.
I have seen photos and reviews and this place definitely looks stunning on the pictures.
I was attempted to book their Airbnb sometime ago for that date and side tracked and that day for my visit is full. When I arrived the vineyard door is wide open with a sign saying 'not allowed in if you have COVID or in isolation - which is general to most of the business. There is also a small sign of 'closed' on the other side of the main door on top of the granite sign. I was confused because I know it has Airbnb bookings and should not be closed.
So I went in and had a look. Upon arrival I was approached by a gentleman , i believe his name is David, and I expressed that I have heard about this place travel interstate and not sure if it is open or closed. If I am allowed to take some photos - I must say it is a magnificent place to be.
However, there is a sudden change in his attitude : No you are not allowed it is closed you need to verse back and get out. I was astounded by his hostile attitude. Even though you are indeed partially closed (winery closed but accommodation is open)? I explained to him I did check google for openning hours before came but couldn't find any information of the closure. Then David just ignored me and walked away - very disrespectful.
There is no need to freak a visitor out even though you know she/he may not profitable for the visit - this is very unprofessional.
Effectively updating your hours on Google will make it easier to guest to follow and plan and to avoid a circumstance like this. Basic courtesy shall be given to the travel public especially they are unfamiliar with this place and has traveled long way...

After providing feedback we were promptly avoided until we just decided to walk out. For a venue promoting the fact that they have 42 wines for tasting the barely have an understanding of those wines or...
