This Pelham lookout and reserve is a great place to hike and view wildflowers during the spring time of late August and month of September. Lots of flowers in bloom on 27/10/21 Monday. There is a public toilet at the lookout, along with three picnic tables and benches. Trash bin on site for general waste. Five walk trails starting out from the look out area. You can drive your car along the red gravel unsealed road to avoid walking if you just want to see the blooms. This...

Fantastic place to visit in springtime! Carpet of pink everlastings and other wildflowers, so close to Perth! Not easily accessible though, we walked about 500m from the carpark, on slightly rocky, uneven road but totally worth it. If you can, climb up the hill - the carpet of everlastings are more dense at the top plus you will be rewarded with a great view of the surrounding areas. Just be mindful where you step to avoid crushing the...
