Perfect place to have a kids 3rd/4th birthday party, although I would highly recommend if you are going to want to do a birthday party here that you get there really early, cuz like the birthday party for the small persons birthday was scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. and I got there at like 8:00 a.m. and then people already hovering around looking to you know bag the table so I would strongly recommend getting there at least 2 hours early you know camp out and then you've got time to, you know just to decorate and put some drinks in ice and all sorts of wonderful things. As far as amenities go you've got the toilets on the other side of the park you've got a nice big green bit you got to drink fountain the barbecues although the barbecue closest to the beach wasn't working when we went there but you know one barbecue is okay the playground is quite good I would recommend though if you are going to decorate the the thing don't use sticky tape. It just doesn't...
Read moreThis park has potential but sadly misses the mark. The big slide cannot be reached easily. The has climbing web all the way to the big slide and only a tiny triangle of metal to stand on before you go into the slide. Quite ridiculous and dangerous system set up. If your child gets stuck theres no easy way to get to them and you will be forced to climb across endless webbing of ridiculous design. Upsides are, a great disabled swing with clips, a big swinging web swing (be warned it doesn't just swing 1 way lol it spins 360 and the spinning can eject your child especially if they lean backwards with it), it has a baby and child swing, baby slide, jiggle board, the weird talking tubes, lots of shade and seating, picnic tables and free push button barbecues, toilets and big open grass areas to play in. Only one feature was broken and that was the...
Read moreIt's a beautiful looking park for sure. BBQ'S, undercover seating, plenty of grass to sit and enjoy a picnic too. Beach access, bathrooms, parking is good but it would get very busy in peck times. The play area has rope climbing, rock climbing, swings, a small slide and a large slide. My only issue is the large slide isn't easy to get to, so a child under 6 would struggle. The smaller slide is good for upto 2 so there's a cap in age appropriate equipment for 2 - 5. If you have an adventurous kid they may be ok though getting up. My 6 year old was fine but our friends 3 year old wasn't. Park is semi fenced and had shade sails over most equipment, soft floor covered a big part of the playspace. Definitely a good park for a play just be ready to lift your child to the slide.
