Like everyone else, the reviews attracted us in to see what all the hype was about. Very quickly we found that we were not getting one of those experiences. If I could do less than a 1 star, I would!!!!
Tables - the most uncomfortable bench seats ever, and no room to have a person sit opposite you on the table with a plate of food.
The service -this was a circus, which other patrons enjoyed the viewing. Drinks being brought out that were wrong, and then being walked away and then brought back to the table over and over again like ground hog day. Taking way way to look to get something as simple as a jug of water (35 minutes after we complained) it took 25 minutes before we were first served, then it took 40 minutes for one soft drink to arrive to the table from 6 drinks ordered and another 15 minutes for the cocktail… 55 minutes for a drink and it wasn’t even the right one!!! I think the worst part was that I had to argue with the lady that the can in her hand was normal coke and not Coke Zero! It’s in your hand “look that’s normal coke” “no it’s Diet Coke”!!!!!! Cutlery was handled by the staff with no care, forks handed to me handle facing me and the waiter holding the part that goes in my mouth. The pasta came out with a spoon only, I had to go in and ask for a fork which they seemed surprised we needed then the kicker, 45 minutes later while the bowl is finished, they come out and say “here is your fork”, seeing she’s finished and still proceeded to ensure she took it
Food - it took an hour and 10 minutes for entrée’s. Another 15 minutes for 1 of the 2 kids meals and the second kids meal didn’t arrive until we complained after all adults had eaten 2 hours late. The mains were 90 minutes to come out and once they did, there was no cutlery, we had to go up and request cutlery so we could eat our dinner. And the quality of the food? Hopeless.. the table behind us left with 3/4 of all plates still full of food. We had a pizza with 1/4 topping and the rest was burnt bubbled up base. Chicken and chorizo pasta with 2 pieces a chicken and no chorizo. Schnitzels? Well 3 of the meals left on the table behind us were the shitzels
A young waitress did her very best to apologise for all everything, as everyone in the restaurant was experiencing the same, take way order customers were cancelling and requesting refunds and people with bookings were leaving as existing customers were sitting in anger warning them to go somewhere else. It is very unfair that a young woman has to be the face of the establishment apologising to customers while the manager hides out the back.
Shut it down, reset, and re open...
Read moreMy partner and I came here as I was looking for somewhere nice to take her, she and I LOVE this type of food so I thought it would be perfect. I was actually met with one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in quite a long time. Staff made me feel unwelcome and stupid in a way when I asked a question as simple as how big the 92 burger was, I was laughed at and told “it’s just a normal burger” and wouldn’t give me an answer.
The atmosphere is crowded which is understandable due to the size of place, I do love the design and was hoping to enjoy the “feel” as it looks like a warm cozy place, but instead I had every customer stare at me almost the whole time we visited just because I have tattoos. I know the customers are not controllable but still, wasn’t a nice experience to be discriminated against because of what’s on my skin. The food, we started with an entree of onion rings which were exceptional especially with the aoli sauce they came with, then we had our main, my partner had squid, and I had a burger.
It wasn’t terrible but truely, the burger was bland, it may of been the burger I ordered that just didn’t taste nice but even the chips, just plain and boring. The squid was actually quite nice, good salty and fresh flavour, but that is all I can say. They need a desert range on the menu, and a big range of that too, you have plenty of customers that I can tell would love that.
Paying for the dinner didn’t feel right, I almost felt stupid giving them money for what I had eaten, it was fairly priced and I’ll still admit that, but if you charge the price you did, you should at least have better service. The employees were straight forward, and rude, i truely could have a better experience with the staff at McDonald’s and that’s no word of lie. We even heard two other seperate tables complaining about the food and service, that was before we even got ours, we now understood why they had an issue. You need to either train the staff more, or change the staff. I hate to leave a review like this, but this seriously ruined the night. We will not...
Read moreAfter a recommendation from our AirBNB host and checking the reviews on Google and Instagram, we decided to go to Table 92. The recommendations couldn’t be more overrated and wrong.
The booking was straight forward and very easy. We ordered our meals which included one entree - a serving of wings, four mains- two kids meals (which we asked to come out with the entree) a schnitzel with salad and chilli and lime squid with a rocket salad. Out came one kids meal, then the second kids meals… which was fine but then out came the main schnitzel meal (before the entree?). The lettuce was brown and slightly soggy. Despite all of this and still holding onto hope, the entree arrived a couple of minutes later, but the wings were horrible and came with an excessive amount of sauce that was just poured on top. The staff were kind enough to say that the other main meal ‘ was going to be a little bit more of a wait’ however, by the time this meal came, nearly all of the other food had been eaten. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than going out for dinner to eat together and then to wait around watching everyone else eat but then, what is even worse, is when you wait and the meal that comes out after the wait is revolting. On the menu, it was Chilli & Lime Squid served with a rocket salad, the salad was soggy and so was the squid. The slice of lime was dry and discovered underneath the salad. The squid was so undercooked and not at all crispy. All of this accompanied by a beer, a cocktail and 2 watered down apple juices which all came to a total of $143. Excessively expensive for the quality of food. The staff were nice enough but all seemed very inexperienced. We are extremely disappointed in the experience, we won’t be back and definitely do not...
