Hazards present:
People sunbathing at a dog beach despite not having a dog and then getting annoyed at you when your dog pees on them.
People sitting down in the sand, again without a dog, eating a muffin from Yelo and getting upset at dogs/owners when dogs bother them/steal their muffin because they have food. At a dog beach.
Idiot bogans with powerful or boisterous breeds that have absolutely no control over their dog and no understanding of dog behaviour or training and thus bring potentially anti-social dogs to the beach. This one is always fun to deal with.
Helicopter mums who get upset at you when their toddler runs into the path your dog is running on and gets bowled over. "Your dog should watch where he's bloody going!" This type of person frequently doesn't have a dog, at the dog beach.
Finally, be aware of the "doggy mosh pit" vibe, it can get pretty cramped and some dogs may not be so keen on having to share space with many other dogs.
