I went here on my own a few weeks ago to do some bird photography. Unfortunately, the weather was beginning to blow up a bit of a storm, so there wasn't much to see. Revisited yesterday in the late afternoon with my wife. She's more into trees and plants, so she loved the flora. The sun was going down, so the lighting was better. It's a lovely spot, albeit quite a small area, with a diverse variety of birdlife, according to the information boards along the path. I didn't see the parrots or honey eaters that the boards mentioned, but I did see figbirds, rozellas, topknot pigeons, satin bower birds, and a few other species. As usual, I could hear the bell miners and whip birds, but couldn't see them. I have yet to get photos of these elusive little critters.

Beautiful parklands to walk through. Designated walkways are short but there are lovely walking tracks that take you through farmland and forest and rivers. Lots of interesting water birds, mushrooms and cows to check out! The walking tracks are just on grass, very flat and easy but no wheelchair access. It's a bit boggy after rain and lots of mosquitos, wasps and other bugs around. Hidden gem just outside of Sydney, highly recommended! They have a composting toilet and fun fact signs around which the little ones might like!

This regenerated former dairy farm is a beautiful place for wildlife/bird photography and enjoying nature. I'm not sure why google wants me to give a star rating to a park but hey I'll give it a go. Lots of picnic tables, a short walk from plenty of parking. No dogs allowed. The paths I wandered last weekend were all very pram and probably wheelchair friendly. They have accessible picnic tables, which is cool. There are toilets available.

🌲🐓 Hidden Gem of The Coast! 🌲🐮

Amazing place to visit for a quiet walk or a family picnic.

This place is absolutely worth driving out of your way for if you love nature and history in one.

Children will love seeing the cows, chickens on the farm area and the other wildlife in the wetlands section.

Turn left before the Wyong Bridge if you're coming from Tuggerah and go under the bridge and you'll find the Wetlands/Pioneer Dairy site...
