Yanakie Beach — Attraction in Victoria

The walk to get to the point can be misleading (make sure you go during daylight). You can take the beach path back, however be prepared to walk on A LOT of mountains of seaweed which is not very comfortable at all. So i would probably advise going back the way you came through the path. It is very pretty once you reach the peak. The beach itself is not for swimming in my opinion, with dark rough waters. Probably underrated because not many reviews here. But the views are incredible as it's on a small peninsula and you can see the ocean on three sides. The best is that you can take dogs. And the track from end of Foley Rd is beautiful with tree canopies all the way, so it's cool and shady...
