Duck Point — Attraction in Yanakie

We were staying in the nearby campground and wanted to go for a short walk. Spotted the sign for this and had an interesting little hike. The trail to Duck Point was so mysterious, frightening and thrilling. No ducks were spotted but swans and seagulls. Counted about thirty five of them. It really wasn't that long of a walk. I had to often be careful of the twigs that stuck out, so it was difficult to observe...

We walked through a very interesting little patch of woods to get here, in the end the view was very cool but there were too many flies around, possibly related to when we visited (march). Interesting experience but the flies made it hard for us to keep exploring the area...
