Updated 2023 - under new ownership. Booking online, $55/night for premium powered, van, 2 adults. When we arrived we were told site 2. Site 3 was occupied by a caravan who had parked on the grass area. The sites are on a curve so we would have blocked access to site 1 if we had parked on the grass so would have to park in the uneven sandy area. While the site had water and power, did not feel like it was premium and was at the higher end of pricing in our 2 months on the mainland east coast. It also didn't show as a premium site on the map, which is apparently being updated. We discussed with reception, who were nice to deal with, and luckily we were able to move to site 14, a fully grassed, flat site which is more of a premium site. In speaking to our neighbors it seems like there was a lot of confusion as they had booked a powered site and were sent to an unpowered. So maybe just some things to work out for new owners. The amenities are the same, clean but dated. There is a new camp kitchen in the works but wasn't open yet. The current camp kitchen, while small works great and was clean. The BBQ by the playground was also clean and worked fine. Laundry was also good with washers, dryers and line dryers available. Currently waiting on approval for a dump point installation so be prepared to dump cassettes elsewhere. The playground area is very well set up for all ages. Grounds are well maintained and staff friendly so still recommend as a good place spot. Easy access to Wilson's Prom National Park and all the great hikes in the area. 2017 - 4 star. One night, $38 for 2 people, powered campervan. Very friendly reception, gave us hints on the hikes in the area and also let us know about the bike race, how it would impact the area with road closures, etc. Site was nice, grassy and flat. The bathrooms are older, clean but need an update. The water pressure was low but the showers were warm. The kitchen was on the smaller side but there was a BBQ, cooktop, microwave, etc. Overall good place.

Brilliant place to stay we had a standard cabin No 4 it was about 100 Metres to beach across car park, it didn’t have toilet or shower however the facilities are not far away. Loved our stay ended up extending an extra night.

We spent the Australia Day long weekend at Wilsons Prom Holiday Park with friends. We had 2 powered campsites for our tents. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and plenty of natural beauty, but unfortunately, our overall experience wasn’t great. What we liked: • The campsites were spacious, so we had plenty of room to set up. • The park’s surroundings were absolutely gorgeous, with incredible views and a peaceful atmosphere. What we didn’t like: • The flies were unbearable during the day, making it almost impossible to use the campsites. While flies are common in summer, it felt like the park could have done more to manage this issue. • The power inlets were really far from our site, which made setting up inconvenient. • There weren’t enough toilets, and one side of the campground didn’t have any at all, meaning a long walk for anyone staying there. • The communal kitchen was too small, with just four small fridges that were dirty. • There were only a few BBQs, and just one of them was working. • Each campsite was limited to one car, which was frustrating for group trips. • Although the website said firepits were available, we received an email two days before our stay saying fires weren’t allowed, even though there wasn’t a fire ban in place. Overall, while the views and location are amazing, the poor facilities and lack of proper maintenance made our stay less enjoyable. We wouldn’t be rushing back anytime soon.

After coming to this caravan park to camp for several years now, with multiple other families as a part of a largish group, this year I’d have to say we were extremely disappointed for several reasons.

After becoming associated with BIG 4 and the associated price increases that seem to have come with that, you would expect the toilet amenities to be clean and the water to have a reasonable pressure and consistency however it’s not the case, the floors were filthy every-time we went in for showers and we were there for 8-9 days and the water trickled out and went cold every few seconds. I feel I may have only had 1 maybe 2 showers where the pressure was acceptable. They were both closed for what was to be cleaning times at the same time and some of our group had to go to the office to get a block opened to use a toilet and others had to run between blocks which is unacceptable. A cubicle in the men’s was out of order our whole trip meaning often people had to cue to be able to get access. Both blocks need an urgent make over and with the prices you pay this should be a priority.

Suggestion some outside showers for people returning from the beach.

One laundry was closed and though this has been the case for several years the laundry room available has old and outdated machines that don’t launder well and are very hard to get use with the amount of people on site.

In stead of emptying septic tanks in the off peak periods they had trucks coming in pumping out on warm days right in the peak period sending an extremely revolting and horrible smell across the campsites.

Despite the noise restrictions being 10:00pm to 8:00am and most of the time understandably, there was absolutely no tolerance for kids playing board games or cards and being a little noisy and general chit chat talk which travels in the quiet nights even on New Year’s Day, we had management approach us for talking loud (no music) by 10 mins past 10 in the evening, we came camping to enjoy the new year and would have thought there would be some common sense in this situation. The sites complaining had no issue with their children up at 5:30-6:00am screaming and carrying on disturbing all the sites around them but were happy to complain about everyone else.

We love this caravan park and the surrounding area and coming from the South Gippsland area ourselves it’s very familiar to us however they really need to improve on the mentioned things above.

Suggestion a jumping pillow. Or something else for the kids.

On a positive note the food vans we had onsite such as the coffee caravan with cocktails for the new year and the pizza truck were sensational, unfortunately the music entertainment from the previous year weren’t available which would have...

our time at the park was so bad i don't know where to start.....we have been going to this caravan park for about 5 years now and it has never been this bad. It was better run when the shire had it and now that Big 4 owns it they think they can put the prices up but not do anything to improve our stay. Yes they have built a new camp kitchen, which is way too small and poorly planned, but the front toilet and shower block is a disgrace. I tried to shower on my first morning there and had no water. I was told by office staff that it was because too many people were showering at once, yet i was the only one in there. They then lied and told me that it was because the other shower block was busy and then the third lie was because the pump was broken and getting fixed in 3 days. The water truck came in 3 times that day and when i went back to the shower block it had plenty of water. That shower block then had issues with the septic, which made the whole park stink. I was then lied to again and told that they were waiting for the plumber to finish working on it, they had already left an hour before. My husband went to use the toilets and they were closed so went to the only other toilet block which was also closed for cleaning.....in what way is it acceptable to have both toilet blocks closed at once??? The other family members we were camping with also had several issues with the park and the staff. They were rude and did nothing to rectify our issues. On top of this, they put the coffee van right next to our site which started at 7am every morning....after reading camp rules, between the hours of 10pm-8pm we must be quiet, why does that not apply to the coffee van which woke us up every morning and kids that wake up and start complaining for the day. Prices have since gone up for next year and im wondering when something is going to be done about the crappy facilities and rude staff? What are we actually...
