At the risk of sounding dramatic, climbing jungle was the reason we actually stayed in the northern rivers when we had the option to leave the area in Feb. The fitness, friends and positivity we found there was amazing, and now that we have had to leave, we miss it every day. Whenever I do visit the northern rivers, it is now the first thing to do on my bucket list. Keep up the amazing work guys, the gym is amazing, safe, and fun. Best of luck for the future, and cannot wait to see you again!

Came for the climbing - stayed for the legends! First visited in Sept 2022 and quickly signed up for a membership - have been climbing 4 times a week since then! Epic location, great facilties and the staff are legends. Have made some awesome new friends and it's ideal to have an all weather activity within an easy drive of home, especially during the winter months. Have done a few courses with them which has really improved by climbing skills and confidence too. Highly recommend it!

Great climbing gym with options for bouldering, top rope, lead and auto-belay. Would be nice e to have a little bit more equipment for warm up/work out, but if you're creative with a hang board and the bars, you can still have a good warm up. Grading system from 1-5 and an experimental grade for bouldering. Nice variety of climbs for all levels including kid-friendly. Great view of the river out the back and a nice grassed area too. Plenty of parking on the street.

This place is insane. Who would have thought that Ballina would have one of the most state-of-the-art climbing venues in NSW. Absolutely nothing like it in the whole of the Northern Rivers area. I've been climbing here like 4 times a week since they opened and signed up for a 12 month membership almost instantly as I've been desperate for something like this close to home. The staff here are super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and obviously love their craft. I've done a couple of courses with them to improve my skills and they have been worth every cent. The social atmosphere and climbing community here is great, I've made loads of new friends of all ages and backgrounds. The kids absolutely love it here and you can really see the excitement on their faces and how much joy they experience climbing here. It was packed during school holidays so it's obviously really good for tourism and bringing people to the area. The location is next level, such a gorgeous location for a climbing gym. Get in there, you won't regret...

We recently had our first visit to the Climbing Jungle. It was my son's first time climbing and he was met with care, support and advice from Brooklyn and Liv which gave my son the confidence to not only try climbing (we were not sure if he’d even attempt it) but to also have the confidence to reach quite high.

I am incredibly grateful for the support language that was used. It was kind, age appropriate and reassuring, rather than a ‘toughen up’ approach.

The use of the bananas and monkeys is a well thought out and very considerate approach, giving children the opportunity to assess where they are at and what they feel they can achieve.

Thank you all for the fun and safe space you...

Fantastic climbing gym and great staff! However, I am peeved though that I am required to pay $299 to do an indoor lead climbing course, when Ive literally been leading climbs on trad and sport gear since 1996. Not really any space for experienced climbers, and I'm quite bored of starting from scratch and being treated like a beginner everytime! I used to manage a climbing gym in the 90's, and the belay course and knots was mandatory. If a person was experienced in lead climbing already, we would assess that persons competence - not make them start again...
