I have read avidly about your Museum. I was worried about what was going to happen to the old Traffic Training Building. I was overjoyed that it was to be a Museum. I know dear old Barbeler Street very well as I spent so many holidays down in number 14 where my Nanna lived. I am Museum mad! I can't keep away from them! I can't wait to be back up there! I'm stuck here in Sydney at present waiting for my Mother's probate to go through. As soon as it comes through I shall be heading north again! I love Townsville with all my heart. There is so much to see and do. I wish you well with the Museum. Just a note, I know that people are not aware of you. I've an idea, why not have a promotional poster at the Airport, Bus Terminal and Train Terminal. Make them very big. I am sure that this may do the trick. Looking forward to meeting you. Could have been interesting but we felt very uncomfortable as we were followed and watched continuously, as if we were going to steal items. The two volunteers even expressed that they were doing a 'change of the guard' to keep an eye on us. It was so uncomfortable that we only saw half the small museum. Very...

An extremely interesting museum...such a shame it is located where it is...should be on the Strand....wonderful collection of memorobillia and the guide Fred is an exceptional asset to the museum......keep up the good work....Townsville Council please relocate the museum where more people can explore...
