Exceptional park and service. Stayed on a powered slab site, which was roomy, with each having their own lawn space and room for a car as well. Amenities were cleaned multiple times a day. So much for kids to do, outdoor and indoor play spaces, jumping pillow, bike track, pedal bikes, heated pool and spa as well as their games room and gym spaces. We stayed during school holidays and there were activities each afternoon for the kids for a gold coin donation toward the cfa. The staff were amazing, offering local knowledge and advice on what we could do with our 20 month old and were completely professional in every aspect.

Great caravan park, offered a lot of activities for the kids to do these including jumpy pillow, bike track, play ground, in-door playground, mini golf, pool, spa. There was a fire pit which staff came around and lit and offered marshmallows, the recreation room was huge had a massive TV with comfy seats, pool table, ping pong table and a Xbox on a separate TV. Our stay was in a RV on a paved and grass site, the sites were well maintained and the grass was soft. The safari tents look nice and the cabins looked new and modern definitely a great stay.

This is a great small caravan park close to town. All the staff, and there are plenty of them, are very friendly and accommodating. The amenities are modern and constantly checked and cleaned. The grounds are immaculately maintained. They have sites for caravans & tents but also have cabins and glamping tents all close to a shaded pool and spa.. They have a communal fire pit lit every night plus organised events for the kids. It was a pleasure to stay here and a credit to management and all the staff.

Have stayed at many other Big4 Holiday parks and they have all been excellent. The service at this particular park was very rude (there was one great reception lady, she was younger and very friendly - however there was another, older and reddish/brown hair who was very rude and condescending as well as the male worker, who may have been her husband - who was very rude, questioned the number of people in my car - we had initially booked 1 Family Cabin with 3 rooms as well as a family unit with 2 bedrooms - and then we upgraded to include another family unit with 2 bedrooms, instead of checking our booking and gathering information, he threw questions in a very rude manner and it came across as he didn't believe that we had booked the appropriate number of people into the rooms, even though the three people in my car (was for the additional cabin) and the third person was part of a family cabin that was checked into earlier.

We were given extra questions and questioned on use of the Spa - when no other guest was questioned (eg. white guests) meaning just because we were darker skinned, we got the third degree questions.

We had children with us on our stay, the pool temperature was freezing on our day of arrival, the advertised "Solar Heated Salt Pool" was one of the reasons why we chose this venue, however we were told "We weren't able to heat up the pool because there were people already in the pool". Poor excuse, you would think they would ask people to leave the pool to heat it up, or at least make it a priority to turn on the heating of the pool before guests would use it.

The venue itself was well maintained, the other guests were friendly - the only negative was the two staff members (the old lady at reception and the old man in the main office).

The cleaners were also very friendly and other staff that we had met and interacted with were excellent.

The two rude staff members should undertake customer service training or cultural awareness training so they dont across the way they...

We recently travelled to Bendigo for a long weekend, and stayed at Big4 Bendigo Ascot in the Platinum 3 Bedroom (8 Berth) cabin.

The accommodation was terrific, the cabin was clean and well appointed. The kids loved the bunk beds, and mum and dad got a spacious room with private ensuite, plus the fireplace in the lounge room added some nice ambience after the kids went to bed. The only minor critique was that although the cabin contained smart TVs, the park's public wi-fi signal in our cabin wasn't strong enough to use our streaming services consistently.

The park facilities were great for kids, and our cabin had a great view overlooking the jumping pillow, basketball courts and mini golf, so the kids could play while we kicked back on the balcony. The pool was also a hit in the summer weather.

The location of the park is convenient as long as you have a car, within 5 mins drive of Bendigo town centre and a lot of other local attractions, takeaways, etc. It is also set back from the main road so not noisy. For us it was perfect, but wouldn't recommend the location if you are planning on walking everywhere.

Finally, we had a fantastic experience with the staff at Big4, who were not only super helpful whilst we were at the park, but also went above and beyond to organise to post us back some belongings that we had...

Misleading description of Accommodation||Advertised as "a cosy cottage ( bedroom, 2 berth) a lovely option for a||couple wanting the privacy of a bedroom separate from the living area"||Later, when asked to upgrade, we were told it was the "budget" accommodation and what did we expect! Totally misled by the advertising website and should have known when not enough photos provided.||Old shack,||Shower concertina screen kept rolling back, water screeched when turning on shower taps that were touchy and hard to regulate, scorched and scoured vanity unit.||Kitchen provided thick crockery, 2 pieces of each so you had to wash up each time you needed an extra plate or cup ( obviously no visitors allowed)||Kitchen stove took 1/2 hour for hotplates to heat up. Would be extremely dangerous for children or anyone who wasnt aware they had been on.||Bed reasonably comfortable.||Stayed in Big 4 all over Victoria and this was definitely not up to standard.||We did stay at Easter and the prices were much higher than normal for a substandard place.|| Extra facilities were great...... pooll , mini golf, gym, camp kitchen...
