Revolutions Transport Museum — Attraction in Whiteman

Lew Whiteman owned, farmed and developed some of the land that now forms Whiteman Park and Revolutions aims to bring his local story to life. Very interesting museum with a wide variety of transport exhibits, both inside and out, from pre-federation (horse and cart) through to the industrial revolution (steam, rail, tram, and aviation). Most exhibits are readily accessible. A special item of interest is a German-made WW1 trophy gun that for many years had languished in neglect but now has been lovingly restored. For me, this is the most worth-it and must-visit museum in Whiteman Park. Entry is donation-based, so you pay as much as you like, but once inside, the experience feels premium and truly fascinating!
