exhibition has a transport focus, the collection also contains a wide variety of decorative items, memorabilia and historical objects collected by Lew Whiteman during his lifetime in the area. Lew Whiteman owned, farmed and developed some of the land that now forms Whiteman Park and Revolutions aims to bring his local story to life. Showcases and the Collection Store window displays are changed regularly throughout the year, bringing many of these smaller objects out on display and promising something different to see and explore in this family-friendly, accessible space. Interactive exhibits give a sense of travel in the past and showcase changing technologies. Visitors can climbing aboard a horse-drawn buggy, sit in the drivers seat of our EJ Holden, step into the ZA Rail Car to see how we travelled in bygone...

Very interesting museum with a wide variety of transport exhibits, both inside and out, from pre-federation (horse and cart) through to the industrial revolution (steam, rail, tram, and aviation). Most exhibits are readily accessible. A special item of interest is a German-made WW1 trophy gun that for many years had languished in neglect but now has been lovingly restored. Details of the gun: Breech-loading (BL) 7.5cm FeldKanone (FK) [field gun] of a 1903 design (M03) weighing 331kg No.546 manufactured 1905 by Friedrich Krupp (exported to Turkey) on carriage No.9203 manufactured 1905 by Krupp. The spade end of the trail appears to have been entirely reconstructed as part of the...

“The Most Worth-It and Must-Visit Museum in Whiteman Park!”

For me, this is the most worth-it and must-visit museum in Whiteman Park. Entry is donation-based, so you pay as much as you like, but once inside, the experience feels premium and truly fascinating!

Right at the entrance, you’re welcomed by a mini theater showing a short film about life in Perth before the 1980s, featuring nostalgic and historic vehicles. Inside, the collection is huge and interactive—many exhibits can be touched and even climbed on, making it an amazing experience. A must-visit for history and vehicle...

I recently visited the Revolutions Transport Museum in Whiteman Park, and it was an enlightening experience! The museum features a fascinating collection of vehicles showcasing the evolution of transport in Australia, from vintage cars to historic trains, each telling a unique story. The well-organized layout makes it easy to navigate, and the friendly staff provide great insights. I especially enjoyed the interactive elements that engage visitors of all ages.
