Best place to hang along with family and friends. Kids will love the play area. Always try to visit during high tides. During low tides it looks like a desert. Have everything needed like toilets, benches, BBQ facilities and lots of shaded areas to sit around. Nice drive from Cedar Creek Falls.

When the tide is out this beach is huuuuuge. It's peaceful too and offers plenty of room to walk without bumping in to anyone. No issues with parking on my visit and the shoreline has covered and uncovered seating for when it's time to rest your weary legs.

In clear weather this place would be fantastic. Out of the way, quite. Approx 40mins drive to Airlie Beach. Unfortunately the weather was horrible...
