Disappointed.. I brought a friend here today to show her this place.. We both ordered the Belgian Waffles, Served Hot with 2 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, Banana, Maple Syrup or Nutella.. The lady asked us Maple Syrup or Nutella, so we both chose Nutella, cost $12.. We both got a hot Waffle with Nutella and one scoop of Ice Cream.. My friend went to counter and it was explained it's a choice of Banana or Maple Syrup or Nutella, which is not how it reads on the menu.. Also they had run out of Banana's which why weren't we told when we ordered.. My friend got her second scoop of Ice Cream but the lady was suprised she wanted it, really we paid for it.. The young waitress was lovely and offered me the second scoop of Ice Cream but I refused as was disappointed and felt ripped off.. Won't...

The dinner is really cool and the outside area is a nice big space.

My low stars are due to the food quality, while the chips and onion rings were good the burger meat quality was not good.

I had a chicken breast burger which the patty was essentially a processed chicken patty you can get from woolies deli for $1.50, I was expecting something more like a chicken breast battered, crumbed or grilled.

My partner had the plain hamburger which he said was tasteless.

I think there is a lot of potential for a very great and simple menu but the quality of the meat needs to be sourced better.

I recommend the cooks/chef/owner check out little Vegas down...

Lovely little nostalgic themed diner. Kids enjoyed the old diner look. We had a simple meals of fish, chips, scollops and onion rings. It is a touch pricy at $10 for a large plate of chips and similar for scollops and onion rings.

But you have to remember this is a town 45mins from a major supplier or supermarket.

I recommend the drive there to check out the place if you are in Arlie for a holiday.

Try stopping off at Brandy Creek falls on the way for a swim in the waterpool and a scenic view the waterfall which runs...

If if you like anything like 1950s themed or American style diner I found the place for you. It’s in Conway Beach it’s called George’s diner. It’s about half an hour drive from from Airlie Beach and it’s located in a caravan park so you can come and stay here as well. They do burgers, fries, onion, rings, milkshakes, all the things that you would expect from American diner and also beverages too, so I can get yourself a cheeky wine on The as well.
