What an amazing place, it's a short 20 mins from the carpark and when you get to the bottom you feel like you are in a foreign place due to the character of the houses, they are built very basic and have been damaged over time. The community runs off grid and it looks like a great place to escape the hussle and bussle of the city. It's great to sit in front of the beach and watch the waves crash, so relaxing. Be mindful there are no toilets or bins. Check out my walking tour video, search "Danny Rojas" presents on YouTube

A steep hike down to the beach, but it is work it. The walk feels very tropical, almost as if you are walking through a dense rain forest. You can start off with a snack at The Otford Pantry at the top of the hill, then scoot across the road and head down the mountain. The walk takes approx half an hour for somebody with a reasonable fitness level. There is a beach at the bottom of the mountain, as well as huts and an ocean pool. We really enjoyed this walk!

Nice walk down the track, however, be mindful as some parts were slippery due to the weather. We met a few leeches on the way, little suckers! Interesting beach huts at the bottom, a lovely beach and a rock pool with sea friends, they came over to say hello

Reached this beach as the parking on all other beaches in the Royal National Park were full and they had no vehicular access. Luckily found a place to park near Otford Lookout (Coast Track Entry parking). A decent but steep hike from Otford Lookout. Bulgo track is located around the corner of Lady Wakehurst Dr & Domville Rd. Followed Bulgo North Branch track to reach the beach. Bulgo beach appeared to be a scenic, non-swimming, sparsely populated, coarse sand beach and is full of rock pools. Had a good time walking along the beach. Likely the best option with a short hike worth exploring if other...
