The views were ok but maybe even better during the day as the view consists mainly of the ocean & the edge top of the hills the nightlife skyline views are limited as you can't see all of the towns that lead to Wollongong.. I arrived there as soon as it became dark driving on lady wakehurst dr as we drove from & through the Royal national park road to get here the road trip was surrounded by the bushland this road can get quite dark as there is limited or no street lights with one long road that travels through to bald hill lookout then up to stanwell tops which may a have a better view of the night skyline of the coastal towns if you like... best to drive through during the day incase of emergencies..As it takes a while to get to the suburban towns driving though roads which consist of the...

Lookout is breathtaking but to get to the property to relish the scenery is something not less arduous than searching for the cup of Christ in Indians Jones and the last crusade.

Lady Wakehurst drive… do you call it a road? Serious safety issues there. it’s 5 feet wide windy path up the hill not seen from the main Otford road…very poor road management. How can the council allow such a humongous property to be built using that narrow path. This actually brings the score on the property drastically down although boasting that scenic outlook. I reported on the property we stayed at...

A good place to pause and enjoy the coastal views to the South. You could see Sea Cliff Bridge/Lawrence Hargrave Drive from here. It is also the starting point for the Coast Track or Royal Coastal Walk. Hence, you may find many vehicles parked there but not many people hanging around. Parking spaces are limited and can be full on weekends.

No amenities here. No toilets, no picnic tables, no seating.

Beware that on wet days, if you stay too long on the grassy areas you may have leeches crawling up your...

Otford Lookout is beautiful 🥰 lt has a walking trail to the north from which l took some photos. Unfortunately it was overcast due to weather geoengineering 😞 lmagine how gorgeous it would be on a 🌞 sunny day. You will find it after driving from Waterfall through the National Park. The winding drive through the forest is healing and energizing. A ranger drove past me so be careful. Like Police 🚔 they are out and about to catch people doing wrong to the environment 😒 l visited 1️⃣0️⃣th October 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣

Don't visit Otford - there are no public bathrooms anywhere. The café was closed and the bathrooms at the train station were locked. I ended up having to knock on people's doors and was told that it wasn't a good time at one place, because the guy's mother was in a meeting. Makes me wonder why I donate blood. Thankfully one man ended up having empathy with my situation. How can this town spend money on trails and publicise its tourist credentials while not actually treating visitors as human beings?

Love the coast walk. It is a place that you can truely loose yourself in the amazing natural environment. So many gems along the way. Bring plenty of water, food and time as there are no bins of places to refill along the way and ensure that you have sturdy footwear. Also keep an eye on the weather as at times the weather can close in (fog and rain) without much notice and this doesn't always appear on the BOM radar.
