Lovely walking track to Fairy Meadow beach from the north west end of Stewart Park. Starts with a beautiful boardwalk then almost like a forest track around the creeks themselves with small paths leading to Puckeys Beach. The path ends at Fairy Meadow Beach and if the tide is low it's possible to walk south along the beach (Puckeys Beach) back to Stewart Park. Please remember to only swim at patrolled beaches and between the flags: Puckeys beach is notorious for drownings and is obviously not patrolled...it is however a off leash beach for dogs.

It's a good walk, unfortunately people on motorised push bikes fly past you at speed and make you jump out of their way! They are loud too, can't be great for the wildlife, certainly not great when you're walking your dog who is anxious about loud noises. Having said that, I thought it was clean, well maintained, and safe (during the day as it is busy). I personally wouldn't walk it at night alone as there's no lighting. Looking forward to walking with the Illawarra Beagle Group there soon.

Great walking/running track between North Wollongong and Fairy Meadow Beach. The track is dirt, but quite wide and well cared for. It weaves through light bushland and scrub, offering occasional glimpses of the ocean. Enough people use the track for it to feel both secluded and relatively safe. There are bubblers at the Fairy Meadow end, which is great for half-way rests on hot days.
