I loved this place. Such a beautiful view of the tacle cap and the cliff is wonderful. When you go on the top of the hill (to see the lookout), you can have a better view if you go on your left hand side at the top. Follow the footprint/path that take you closer to the edge and through the plants. You have a amazing view from that point. We went there at sunset and that was fantastic. The colors were incredible !! So quiet...

I could waste hours here. The stones are very interesting to look at and honestly I could’ve taken home a bucketful. Might not be such a good swimming beach, but still a great place to bring a picnic and spend an afternoon. People of all ages will enjoy looking for fossils in the rocks, and collecting any particularly nice looking stones. I’ve never been to a beach like it. It’s very worth a visit if you’re...

A stunning natural area that enlightens the child within as you look around for hidden fossils to view. The beautiful cliff faces and water worn caves make you realise the beauty Tasmania has to offer & also make for great photography. Picnic tables available for use also. Both visits it's been quite...

This was the shortest hike to the top with an amazing view! I am really happy to have stopped here and walk on millions of years of history. Who knew Tasmania was part of Antarctica? Seeing the fossils in the rocks on the bluff was incredible. The information signs were very well explained and efficient.

A hidden gem to stop by if pass by, it's located in between burnie and Stanley, there is a parking lot right there and very convenient, for those who plan to visit it, to watch for tides times on that day. Went at about 1030am and the tide is going to be low, so manage to go down and have a quick look.
