Skizentrum Angertal — Attraction in Bad Hofgastein

Well skiing is nice. We like it here.

We were used to spend some 10-15 days skiing in Austria each year

But post-covid prices just moved to crazy levels.

Family (2 adults + 2 kids), self-catering + some soup for lunch will be some 3-4000 EUR a week. Is it worth?

For the same money we can stay a week in 4* hotel in United Arab Emirates will full board - including flights. Or It's possible for us to buy 4 Round the World tickets.

So what to do next year ???

Probably weekend skiing in Austria and then week in Seychelles or Caribbean will be beter...

Schlossalm - Angertal - Stubnerkogel is one of four ski areas in the Gasteinertal and is between 860 and 2,300 m. Ski amade gastein is connected with approx. 80 km of ski slopes. Great facilities for skiers, easy approach with car, lot of parking spaces. Many restaurants in walking distance from the parking. Sunny most of the day, good connection to the rest of the ski area and excellent beginners pistes....
