Enormous and well maintained ski area, with 280+ km of slopes. Come in the morning while the snow is still fresh, later moulds tend to form. Be careful to pick slopes according to your ability, if you are a beginner (ish) then stay on the blue. Plan in advance as you can get yourself in a situation where the only way forward is red or black, and they will be steep and bumpy. Also, if you need to be back at a certain time (e.g. to catch a bus) be cateful how far you venture into the mountains as it can take a bit of planning and quite some time to get back. Almost bo queues even on the weekend, the place is so big that all people just disperse in the mountains - and even if there is a queue to some lifts, it moves fast and you shouldn't wait mota than a few mins. The only thing they could improve is more maps around the place, the ones at major lift exislts are very generic and sometimes not very accurate. If you are not a regular there then you can get lost or stuck on a slope you really don't want to be on (too difficult). Best take a picture of one of the accurate maps at the valley station and check where you are...
Read moreDon’t recommend. The cable cars and chair lifts here are very old and uncomfortable, big Qs. Many skiers who are very rude, they all time jump the Q, kick you and push you around and all time either stab you or your snowboard with their ski poles. Every day of riding there I had to ask them to keep distance when waiting for a chair lift and had my beautiful snowboard graphic scratched deeply in several places. Wi-fi doesn’t work all the time. Very many people. In restaurants on the runs there are no menus in English and they don’t accept cards and of course no Apple Pay. Very limited choice. Every looks old and in bad condition. Some runs are nice, but most of runs are icy and the snow isn’t cold because this resort isn’t high and it’s not a glacier. Their site promised that it’s the best resort in Austria, but it obviously isn’t true. If you have a chance, go to Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun. They have new lifts and even a lot of vegan food in restaurants and all is beautiful and the snow is great cause Kitzsteinhorn...
Read moreThe workers in the tickets were rude, they didn't want to speck English, they did not give any information about the slopes. The information in general in the printed map and on their web was very bad. We took a blue slope 111, that everybody agreed that was. Red, and had a hard time. And later on, on the slope 3, also blue, there were many bumps even at the beginning of the day so many people were falling. Having bumps in the morning does show very good mantainance or care in general. I don't recommend it for beginners or intermediates. To day something good, the views were nice, the rest, not a...
