We visited the mountain on 15.08.23 and after a long hiking day we figured out that the lift at the top station stopped working before 16.00 instead of the scheduled 17.00.
When we asked the lift operator what was the reason he replied in a very rude manner that the lift is closed with no further explanation. After we insisted he said that it was due to the weather conditions (there was no rain or wind at least till 17.00!!!) and that we should walk from 1700m down to 700m in the evening with a storm approaching.
When we complained he got very angry and he was calling his colleagues in front of us to mock us and he did nothing to help except of writing the phone number of the boss in a paper. It was very disappointing to be treated in such an unhelpful and arrogant way by bitter old man.
In the end the fire brigade came after one hour for the rescue because there was a family with kids who had no chance hiking all the way...
Read moreIt is sad to see how poorly managed this ski resort is. Starting with the access area, where the bus stops have no shelter, cars are parked all the way into the streets with no sidewalks for pedestrians, continuing with the outrageous prices (10 eur per section if you buy a 12 points ticket, so basically 30 euros to go one way up), and ending with the lack of care for the sledding track, which is the worst condition I have seen in in the last 5 years. No effort put to maintain or properly prep the track, but charging outrageous prices... Even though I live in Oberperfuss, after the experience this year we will not be using this slope anymore. We prefer to go to Axams or Neustift where the management actually cares about the conditions of the resort and not just for taking money off of people. A pity, because the sledding track in Oberperfuss is really a wonderful one, if it's...
Read moreWent tobogganing here with our two children. Absolutely gorgeous views from the start to the finish. The bottom third was closed but we did the upper two sections several times - then a lovely little lunch break at the middle station restaurant before starting again:) We had a blast and kids absolutely loved it. Worth taking the third gondola to the very top - the views are incredible. You can go as fast or as slow as you’d like (just use your feet to slow yourself). We were two adults and two children, we got two 2-person toboggans for 4 hours and that was perfect for the day. Depends on the child, but we personally wouldn’t have put the kids on it alone - especially because we’re new to the run/area. Very easy to get here by the bus (we came all the...
