Review of the Nocky Flitzer Alpine Coaster

Unfortunately, I have to share my negative experience with the Nocky Flitzer Alpine Coaster. The coaster itself is average, neither particularly outstanding nor disappointing.

What really disappointed me, however, was the staff. Before our ride, I requested a delayed start because it was clear that the woman with a small child in front of me would ride very slowly. The staff ignored my request and we were forced to go almost immediately behind them. As I had anticipated, we caught up to them very quickly and had to ride more than half of the track at a snail's pace.

This situation not only ruined my experience but also affected the other sleds behind me. In total, four sleds were backed up. The woman not only slowed me down but also the three sleds behind me. At the top station, there were only a few people waiting, so delaying my start would not have caused any long lines.

When we complained about this situation to the staff after the ride, we were met with complete disinterest and a refusal to resolve the issue. I find this behavior completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Bohužel musím sdílet svou negativní zkušenost s návštěvou horské bobové dráhy Nocky Flitzer. Dráha sama o sobě je průměrná, ničím zvlášť nevyčnívá, ale ani nezklame.

Co mě však opravdu zklamalo, byla obsluha dráhy. Před naší jízdou jsem požádal o odložení mého startu, protože bylo jasné, že paní s malým dítětem, která jela hned přede mnou, pojede velmi pomalu. Obsluha mou žádost ignorovala a byli jsme nuceni jet téměř hned za nimi. Jak jsem předpokládal, již po krátké chvíli jsme je dojeli a museli jsme více než polovinu dráhy jet doslova krokem.

Tato situace nejenže zcela pokazila můj zážitek z jízdy, ale ovlivnila i další vozíky za mnou. Celkem jsme dojeli čtyři vozíky najednou. Paní tak zbrzdila nejen mě, ale také další tři vozíky. Na odbavení na horní stanici čekalo jen pár lidí a nehrozilo, že by vznikly nějaké dlouhé fronty, takže by zpoždění mého startu bylo snadno zvládnutelné.

Když jsme po jízdě reklamovali tuto situaci u obsluhy, setkali jsme se s naprostým nezájmem a odmítnutím jakéhokoli řešení. Toto chování považuji za naprosto nepřijatelné a neprofesionální.

The worst service I've ever seen in such places. We had free ride in our cards once per day between 10:00 and 11:30, so we started waiting in a queue at 11:10. The queue was so long that we missed the time slot by one minute and from 8 people we were together part of them missed the time slot and part were in time to try the ride. Very rude lady told us that the rest of us have to buy a ticked since we missed the time slot and cannot use it. She was very angry and looked like she hate this job. Unfortunately we let our children through first, and adults missed the time slot so we had to tell our kids that they cannot use this attraction because they cannot use it without parents. The roller coaster and the other facilities were excellent, providing a great view of the valley. HOWEVER!! You have to be cautious when buying the tickets. If you have a Kärnten Card, you need to check on their website, which attractions are completely free, because only the cable car is included in the card’s services, and you can only ride it once (uphill and downhill). If you want to get to the top by cable car, and come down on the roller coaster, you should buy the roller coaster ticket at the bottom as well, as it’s cheaper that way. You should also make sure you have every information on how it works in advance, as the staff is neither very helpful nor informative (according to our experience at the time of our visit).
