We passed this water tower everyday from our rented apartment nearby on our way to the nearby underground station. Quite an impressive structure is quite a small park here. The tower was built between 1836 and 1841 according to the plans of architect Paul Sprenger. However, nowadays it has fallen into disrepair and it is unlikely to be restored to its former glory until 2026. Interesting.
