We have been coming to the beach for the past 16 years, and since the renovation after COVID, we've been visiting even more frequently. Unfortunately, we have never had such a horrible experience with the employees in the umbrella section as we did today.
We arrived and paid the fees for our umbrellas, only to discover a few minutes later that an employee named Mujeeb Alrahman approached us and demanded that we give up two of our sunbeds and an umbrella for other guests. We politely explained that we typically need four sunbeds for our family, but he insisted on taking two of ours to sell to others. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He even stood by our beds while we were at sea and offered them to another couple.
My husband couldn't take it anymore, so he paid extra for additional sunbeds because Mujeeb claimed that new regulations meant children were no longer entitled to sunbeds, which has never been the case in our many previous visits. This was highly disappointing and made for a terrible experience.
Instead of providing more umbrellas and sunbeds for beachgoers, he seemed more interested in taking ours. This was a horrible experience, primarily due to the actions of this employee.
In addition to the disgusting bathrooms and the fact that you can find men showering in the women's side without security available in the area.
The carts used to be free, but today, they have different rates, according to the cart driver.
The security should focus on intruders who didn't pay any money to be on the beach with the umbrellas. They came and went on our side, and I had to tell Mujeeb about it because he was so concerned with us and our sunbeds instead of doing his job! Horrible,...

The management is working on upgrades, but to elevate Zallaq Beach to the next level, inspiration could be taken from Saudi Arabia’s world-class beaches such as Al Khobar Beach, Half Moon Beach, and Jubail Fanateer Beach.
Overall, Zallaq Beach (Jazaer) stands out as Bahrain’s only true public beach that can be compared with Saudi Arabia’s standard family beaches. Its calm environment, beautiful views, and iconic sunsets make it a must-visit for families and travelers alike.
