‏I absolutely do not recommend visiting this beach. It’s a complete rip-off and feels like a trap for tourists. Prices are insanely high — a basic sandwich costs at least 4 BHD, and if you want a side like fries, that’s an extra 2 BHD or more depending on what you choose. The burgers are tiny, and although the coffee prices seem reasonable (around 2 BHD), all the drinks taste exactly the same — whether it’s labeled a latte or a frappuccino, it’s basically just the same coffee with a different name and price.

‏Pizza costs 7 BHD here while you can get it for 1.5 BHD outside. Total scam.

‏They also search your bags and don’t allow outside food, forcing you to buy everything from their overpriced stalls.

‏As for the beach, it’s not even worth it. There were jellyfish in the water, and they kick everyone out by 5 PM sharp, just because the sun sets — they say it’s for “safety” or “tourist regulations.” The whole place closes at 7 PM, and even if you try to use your coupons before that, they refuse to accept them, claiming it’s closed, even though they’re still open. They just don’t want to work.

‏In short: Overpriced, bad service, low quality, and unfair policies. There are much better beaches in Bahrain....

We visited Bilaj Al Jazayer Beach on Sunday at 4:00 PM. The entrance fee is 2 BHD for adults and free for children.

There are several items available for purchase at the store such as towels, bags, and water bottles.

When you pay the 2 BHD entrance fee, it’s given back as credit that you can use in the cafés or restaurants inside. However, there are only two cafés available: Revive and Caribou.

The beach is clean and beautiful. We enjoyed swimming until 6:00 PM, after which swimming is not allowed.

There are several lifeguards available in case of emergency.

Prayer rooms, bathrooms, and shower areas are available.

However, the shower area is shared and there is no privacy.

My rating is 6 out of 10, and I don’t plan to...

One star only because I can’t give zero. I used to enjoy visiting Bilaj al-Jazayr Beach with my tiny, well-behaved pet (less than 3 kg) and never had an issue. But apparently, they’ve now changed their policy and completely banned pets, even small ones. The staff were shockingly rude and dismissive when I asked about it—no empathy, no explanation, just attitude. This is a public beach, and the way they handled the situation was completely unprofessional. If you’re a pet owner, don’t bother coming here. Very disappointed in how this place is being run now. It used to be welcoming, but clearly...

I love it here when the weather is breezy! I take my three year old and it's 2bd entrance (free for my little one) which is reimbursed in coupons to use for food, drinks or sun loungers. Sun loungers are 2bd per person. Food and drink options are Caribou, Revive Cafe, Papa Johns, Fudds and Dose - you can bring your own food and drinks too. The beach is open 7am -7pm and I think food places are open until 8pm. Opening times vary for f&b. The beach is clean and there are play areas for children and water sports options if I'm not mistaken. Enjoy
