Dilmunia Island — Attraction in Muharraq Governorate

I used to live on Dilmunia Island, and while the apartment buildings are beautiful with wonderful ocean views, unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end.

The island is basically a ghost town. The one supermarket, Tamimi, has closed down, and most of the shops in the Dilmunia Mall aren’t even open. It’s really disappointing to see that development on the island has seemingly stopped altogether.

Love walking near the water outside, it is very peaceful 💙 Not to forget the water fountain shows, you might watch it many times, but still will be watching it again when it plays.

Also, love the vibes of the mall inside, with boulevard area, ice rink, multi floored aquarium, graffiti and paintings on the walls, statues of various animated characters etc.

Waiting for more restaurants, cafes and shops to open since currently the choices are limited.

Beautiful mall, they have a full area for the action figures. Children will love it the most. It also has a LED setting on the ceiling and it's very beautiful. Secondly it has a 2 storey tall aquarium. It's mesmerising. A very good place to go with kids and family and they have all necessary measures for the safety of the people.
