Shaheed Hadis Park is a park situated on the western side of the Bangladesh Bank Khulna branch of Khulna City in Khulna district of Bangladesh, which was established in 1884 after the establishment of Khulna municipality and municipality authorities named 'Khulna Municipality Park' to entertain the people of the city. Later, during the mass upsurge of 21 February 1969, ayub anti-rallies were named after the police killed Shahid Sheikh Haddisur Rahman Babu.Shahid Hadis Park has created a new Shaheed Minar on the basis of central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka. The municipality authorities established this park named 'Khulna Municipal Park'. On June 16, 1925, Mahatma Gandhi spoke in this park. In recognition of his memory, the park was named after Gandhi Park. After the partition of India in 1947, the name of the park was changed to Jinnah Park. It was named after Khulna Municipal Park. On February 22, 1969, the park was named after Shahid Hadis Park.

The full name of Shaheed Hadith is Sheikh Haddisur Rahman Babu. He was born on 21 April 1944 in Ranbijaypur village of Bagerhat district. They were 4 brothers, three sisters, two brothers and two sisters. Hadith came to Khulna to get admission in the Azmakhan Commerce College by passing SSC.Hadith worked in a laundry named White Snow on Shantimham Bunder, due to family's helplessness. When the anti-Ayub anti-mass movement started in 1969, it was decided that on February 21, there will be a procession from different places of Khulna city and will be assembled in the municipal park. On February 21, at around 9:30 am, a procession of Haji Mohsin Road came into the clash with police in the presence of additional deputy commissioner of non-Bengali Afzal Kahut, the then acting officer of the municipality.Hadisur Rahman Babu was martyred when police opened fire. The news of Hadisur's death spreads across the city as protests started. Altaf and Pradip were killed in clashes with police in different places.
