Recently I got there for taking iftari. About 15 min we were waiting. they were so busy that they even didn’t give a look to our table. Like we don’t exist in their restaurant. Then we forced them to listen of us cause the magrib azan about to started.
Then they served us two plates of food without asking us anything. I asked them do you have other platter to offer they were saying no we have just this platter available. We were shocked. Cause the platter had only chickpeas and fried bringal and potato etc.
we went castle Salam restaurants to have different kind of food platters for iftar like they posted on social media. This was a scam, and the platter price was around 500 taka. Is this a joke! Then we claimed it and they told us, please come with us we are arranging other foods for you. We didn’t have a clue that they are talking us from the castle Salam restaurant to the bistro C restaurant. Are they was serious! We were so much shocked cause it all happened within a moment before we could approach anything.
We had come to spend some quality full time in castle Salam restaurant and they send me to the bistro c which was so crowded. It ruined my day and mood. They are so irresponsible and have untrained stuffs. They don’t maintain the minimum standard which a 3 star hotel should be. Then they served us food the meridian platters which was yakk. (We asked for Arabian platter)
And also I found a thin silver long wire in the rice, so I barely ate anything. I had a guest with me and I was the host so I didn’t want to embrace that person so I didn’t take a picture of it nor I asked the staff what is going on. Just Shame on them. The worst...

Read moreLast year, I had an extremely awkward and embarrassing experience at this hotel. My younger brother serves in the Bangladesh military, and whenever he got leave, our family stayed at various hotels in Chittagong to see him. When my elder sister visited from abroad, we three sisters went to Khulna to meet him and chose this hotel. But when my brother came after duty, the hotel staff rudely said he couldn’t come to our room—even after we showed proof we were siblings. Their behavior was disrespectful and illogical, using inappropriate words that made us deeply uncomfortable. Though we tried to stay calm and prayed Maghrib in our room, they called immediately saying they were watching us and that my brother couldn’t stay, even in a shared space with a dining area. Despite clear proof of our relationship and being all adults (in our 30s, with my brother just five years younger), they insisted we take another room for him and refused to speak with our parents. Shocked and humiliated, we left that evening for Dhaka. The room was fine, but the treatment was unacceptable—no siblings should have to go...
