Country's second largest Rangpur Zoo is located in Rangpur city. The zoo covers an area of 21.51 acres (8.70 hectares). It has green trees and grasses. The zoo is located on the east side of Hanuman-tala road next to Rangpur police line road. It is not far from the district administration office.The atmosphere of the zoo is excellent. There is Shishu park inside too zoo. There are a lion and lioness, a python, some monkeys, some birds, a peacock and a peahen, 3 water elephants, deer, some donkeys, some horses, 4 crocodiles etc. There is a mosque and a breastfeeding centre inside the park. At the weekend you can visit here with your family. I visited the zoo seems I was child. I visited the zoo in several time. There are lots of animals and trees. You can see here monkey, horse, lion, emu, rabbit, birds, donkey, peacock and more animals. Kids found of this place too much.
