The sign at the entrance says the Musuem is open from 9am - 4pm(see image) attached. We arrived at 3.20pm on a Friday to be told that the museum is closed. No mention of the last entry anywhere. Not sure why they would turn us away, when we could have seen the museum in 30 minutes or less. It doesn't look like they get many visitors anyway 🤷‍♀️ The person at the reception told us that museum was open on Saturday, when Google says its closed on the weekends. All a bit confusing and disorganised.

Had a wonderful time with my parents here before we went to an ICC T20 super 8 match. We arrived around 9:15 and spent 45 minutes there. We had to rush through a little because we wanted to get to the kensington oval early, but I think just an extra 15 minutes would have been perfectly sufficient! We especially enjoyed our kind tour guide’s commentary as well as the Sir Garfield Sober’s exhibit on the top floor.

If you want to learn about Barbados cricket history this is the museum. It is also in close proximity to Kensington Oval. Moreover, if you are lucky like me you might just get to meet cricket great Desmond Haynes. The staff are also polite and knowledgeable
