The beach was 35 min drive on taxi from the pier. The water colors are wonderful but that’s it. If you will go as sardine in mini bus- car with other 10 people you will pay for 2 - 20 dollars. Back we took normal taxi and payed 25 dollars in total. About the beach - nice view but very rough sea, I could not swim there at all, big waves. For 2 lounge chairs and umbrella you will pay 15 dollars but: 1) be careful from whom you will take those, women pointed us to wrong men who tried to take advantage of us and asked 30 dollars and as turned out they did not even worked there 2) the loungers and a umbrella in a very poor state and dirty 3) I did not feel safe at this beach at all - behind us were many groups (gangs) of local young men drinking and looking at all people who were in the beach. I did not like Barbados at all.

The best beach to visit on the island. We drove around the island and visited so many beaches but ended up coming back to Rockley also known as Accra beach. If your staying in private accommodation definitely the best choice. Amazing beach for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. The water is turquoise and clean and the sand is white. Chairs and umbrella available to rent at the beach for a reasonable price. There's a car park and many places to eat around so literally you can spend the day at Rockley beach. Locals are very friendly always ready to help and if you're lucky you'll meet Becky, a green monkey which comes to beach every day with her owner. If one day I'll be coming back to Barbados this beach will be one of the reasons.

Gorgeous beach that is always welcoming to tourists. There's chairs with umbrellas along the beach that you can pay for. If you order food, you can eat it on the beach chairs or at the tables near the restaurants like Chicken George. You'll see a few animals like birds and crabs if you're lucky. Across the street are other restaurants, gift shops, an electronics store, and more. And if it's too hot to play at the playground nearby, there's one in the Chefette's across the street. If you come when there's a lot of seaweed in the water, just wait a couple of days and it should be cleared.
