A beautiful beach. Nice sand and places to sit if that's your thing. Some days there is more seaweed than others but that just depends on the current at the time. Highlight of this beach for me is the snorkling. There are so many species of fish of the reef and turtles most days once you know where to look. As with anything though on the reef and in the ocean, please remember to not touch them. I saw people walking over the reef during my stay. Just because it is shallow enough to doesn't mean you should.

Hidden gem of a beach! The beach doesn’t have a lot of space, especially during high tide - then waves reach houses’ entries. But also that’s the beauty of it. Because the tide can be high there are no vendors, no sunbeds to rent, no one bothering you. Feeling of secluded beach 50 m away from the big road. As an extra - every now and then (depending on the tide) from the beach you can see turtles in water. Definitely one of the favourite beaches.

Great beach with some lovely white sand. A few tree for shade are set back from the high tide line. Clear and free of seaweed. Some easy snorkelling ideal for beginners or those who like sand under their feet. Few bars around with friendly staff and great punch! There are also public toilets and showers avaible, sun loungers are also available in places. There are a few access points and free parking.

Lovely little secluded beach next to hotels and a few shops.

There are deck chairs that are inexpensive to rent but there's so many trees for shade and rocks to sit on that we didn't bother with them.

The sea was fairly choppy when we visited, which made for some fun splashing about, but we were still able to have a little swim.

$25 USD return from the cruise terminal so perfect if you want to avoid the crowds at Carlisle and the other beaches popular with cruisers.

Make sure you book your return in advance though as, due to it being less popular, taxis will take their time coming to you in order to rack up fares from the heavily populated beaches and resorts.

We didn't do this but were saved by Sandra and Charmaine (hope I'm spelling that right) who called a friend that drives a taxi to come and pick us up when our original driver seemingly couldn't be bothered.

We will...

I went for food to take away. I was told to sit at a particular table and the waitress would come and take my order. I waited for her to come for over 15 minutes. There were few patrons but yet I was ignored for over 15 mins. Other employees just stood and stared at me. I finally got up to leave and give them back their menu then the said waitress came over. I gave my order and stepped outside. A few minutes later she came outside behind me to ask for my order again because she forgot what it was. I am so annoyed at this place. I used to come here regularly and never experienced such...
