Nice small family park, impressive old trees, with good playing possibilities for the youngest ones, a nice pub and outdoor terrace for the older ones. Some year-end maintenance of the playing ground required before next spring.

Het Park van Destelbergen is de ideale plaats om met vrienden tot in de hele laate uurtjes te chillen, er is een draaiding waar je gezellig op kan zitten en praten met elkaar en een ligschommel om met z'n allen op te ploffen. Altijd dolle pret, zelfs in het donker. Muziek,drank en een versnapering moet je wel zelf meenemen. Er zijn genoeg vuilbakken om alles op te ruimen.

Leuke speeltuin. Altijd wel wat volk. Redelijk wat toestellen. Voor alle leeftijden. Jammer van de glijbaan op de berg die altijd een modderpoel heeft onderaan. Veel afval ook gisteren, her en der. Wel nieuw gras ingezaaid. Drinkgelegenheid was open. Krakende kikkers. Huppelende konijntjes. Gezellig.

A nice park full of older trees. There is a playground, cafe, walking paths and a dogs-free-running area around. The park has the appearance of an old castle garden. In the park is an old pond with a dilapidated bridge. Too bad because this looks like a nice litle bridge...
