Enchanted by the stunning scenery of pristine lakes and green rolling hills surrounding the river banks, a friend and I we're in good spirits to hike the challenging bicycle route around the lake. The first part towards the endpoint was a fairly straight walk which we completed hands down. The way back, we decided to encircle the lake and return via the other side of the lake. This side of the lake is typified with winding country roads cutting through the astonishing crude and gritty forest alike riverbank. Little did we know that this road is at least 3 times longer than the road up. Luckily, my friend's dog Taira relentlessly kept walking, dragging us towards the car. But before driving back home, we decided to have some munchies and a couple of beverages on a roof patio overlooking the tantalizing yacht bay. Immersed in thoughts and relishing the spectacular sunset, the towards at end agonizing 3 and a half hours brisk walk conjured up a mystical but satisfying...

I don't recommend this place for fishing with a little boat. We've been to the helpdesk to ask where we could fish and the guy was really rude. After 1hour of searching for somebody to ask where we could fish. We finally got the information that you can fish hole year at the lac du jaune ry. But when we arrived there we put our little boat and there where 3 fisherman fishing. We couldn't get anywhere because they where taking the hole lake for themselves...They where shouting at us because we had to be carefull for there line. Who was on the entire lake. So I don't recommend this lake for fishing you will not...

It could be nice, but this lake lacks especially regulation on dogs. It's a dog washing-basin!!! They need to create some areas for dogs and exclude them from others was really hard to find a place where there were not also dogs on beach and inside the water. Many swimmers swim unsafely here, without floating pulley (which makes it harder to be spotted by the many boats too) and there is no life guard in most areas. In my view a touch of dedication and regulation could make this fantastic for all. There were no evident showers I spotted, another minus.
